    Yeah, being old sucks. But trying to EQ your system around bad ears is just going to make it sound unnatural. I look at it as a benefit, I no longer need a system that can play to 20K. 15K is way plenty and there are quite a few 2 way horn systems that can do that very well.

    I finally got hearing aids and my higher ranges all seem to have returned and sound pretty natural to me. Music sounds a hell of a lot better. Being old is not really all that bad in a lot of ways. Exercise a lot; keep the weight down; blah blah; it all seems to actually work !!! Only problem is that at 10:30 pm i'm ready to go to bed !!!

    For me there is probably no point in adding the 2404s to the 511Bs.
